electric waterpump does not work and fans do not turn on

What would cause this. All of a sudden one day I turned on my car and they just stoped working. Also my check engine light turned on but when I go to scan it, the code reader dosent even turn on. I know the code reader is good because I used it on my other car. Please help me, I wanna order a new waterpump but I just wanna make sure that that's the problem... Thank in advance for any help.

well, what did u wire your waterpump to? if you wired it to your fans, you could have blown a fuse or something. check into that. relook all your fuses and wiring for both

Did you install a relay for the WP when you installed it? If not, you prolly blew the fuse for the fans and wp.

sounds to me like you blew a fuse... i use a 20 amp inline fuse for my e-w/p. If the fuse is blown(and you used 20 amp or higher), take off your water pump and make sure the impeller isn't coming off... happened to me with my CSR. The impeller worked itself loose and would seize and blow the fuse.

Is the fuse on the electric water pump? where would the fuse for the pump and fans be? the car came with the electric waterpump

follow the wiring, it should be between the pump and the relay.
