electric water pumps ???

>I have a Meziere ewp and was noticing that the temp gauge was climbing into the red so I shut off the car (I bled the two relief screws after the install) .

So how can you tell if the ewp is actually working ?

First can you hear it running? thats the easiest way.. and one of the only known ways to find out.. If not running is the fuse blown? I have had one on my car for the last 3 years.. Love it to death..

If you turn the pump on without starting the car you should be able to feel it running... or you can turn it on with the car cold & open the bleeder screw & see if the coolant is flowing

>I tried to start the car cold then open the two relief screws which did not leak , but they started to leak when the temp gauge started to indicate 100-105 degrees (w/scan tool) .

Your pump should run with the key on and the engine NOT running also. Easy to hear that way (I can hear it in the car with the windows up)

>O.K. I disconnected the Painless wiring relay #50106 from the Meziere ewp #WP118 .
I then connected the blue wire to the battery and the black to a ground (I ensured that it as a good ground thanks to my multi meter) .
I am going to have to remove this thing and return it to Meziere .
I know I followed the direction when I put it together
