Strong gas smell

Strong gas smell
My car has a very strong smell, especially when driving hard, but all around it does as well. I don't know if you can say rotten eggs, but close to it sometimes. Is it running rich? Whats going on b/c it stinks! Its also been a little rough at idle, i don't no if these things could be in some way related
