electric water pumps
Most claims I've heard are between 5-10rwhp, I really doubt anyone has ever done a dyno comparison before and and after installing one with no other mods done at the same time but maybe someone has. I used the CSI when I did my cam, I'm sure it helps free up some HP especially at high rpm but it's hard to know exactly how much.
Thanks for the info...Is the electric pump ok for street use? My car sees about 5000 miles a year,,,I was concerned about seal life and any cooling probs, if any, associated with under drive pulleys...
They are fine for street use, temps stayed the same with mine even sitting in traffic in the summer it didn't go over 180 degrees. That is with the 160 t-stat and reprogramming to lower the fan settings. When they go out on you the temps will shoot up pretty quick though, I have an indicator light installed to tell me when it's on as a precaution. I think the CSI and others are rated for 2000 hours of service life. Having an underdrive pulley has no effect on the stock pump or electric pump unless you are having charging problems I guess. I put just under 5k on my car last year since installing it and I've got a 25% underdrive pulley and it's worked great so far.
Look here. www.projecttransam.comGo to install guide-cooling system-Meziere wp-at the bottom.

You beat me to it JOE. I was going to post that link.
. Plan on swaping mine out when summer comes.
Great for street use expecially when you want to get her all to the rear wheels
Electric water pumps should have been stock!!!!!!!!!
