i just bought a 95 trans am and the lt1 is new to me and a guy told me whem i went to change the opti or the water pump whichever craps out first i should switch to an electric water pump. i dont know anyone who runs one so if anyone has an opinion i'd like to here it. is it worth it? what about losing a pulley? sorry but i'm completely ignorant about this thanks

 

There are tons of electric water pump/CSI/Mez posts already, if you do a search, you'll find a lot of info on them.

FWIW, I've had mine for about a year now on my daily driver. All is well.

 

CSI= BEST WAY TO GO!!

DO NOT waste $200 bones on that DAMNED Meziere pump! theres NO REASON TO TRUST ME! with the csi you dont have to chop up your radiator fan housing either!
