And then (depending on theyear of your car), you may need to have the DTC codes programmed out. OBD-I 93-95 usually don't set a code for a missing EGR, but it is possible you will get a code for low/no flow. In OBD-II cars (96-97) you are 99% sure of getting a code for low/no flow and it needs to be programmed out of the PCM.
Then there's the code for the EGR vacuum solenoid. If you delete that solenoid, there's another code. Can be programmed out, or you can put a resistor in the electrical connector.
