I have a 1997 z28 need to replace egr have one nut out but cant get to other one. egr is on back of manifold lines are in the way for other side.any suggestions? New to site thanks!

 

All you have to do is get enough of a wrench on it to break it loose. The nut should spin right off, easily. Put a blanket over the engine and lay across it like Superman and feel your way around. Try a different combination of tools, if needed. You can do it.

 

I used one of those Gear Wrench ratcheting wrenches to get mine off. I slipped the box end on the nut and gave 'er a tug. It is a bit tight getting to the one on the driver's side. FYI, I re-tightened the nuts twice after a couple of trips to give the gasket some time to seat.
