Question EGR question? Please help

Should I have any vacuum at the back of the solenoid or at the back of the EGR valve? I have suction if I take the rubber elbow off the drivers side intake manifold but I have none at the back of the EGR valve or the solenoid.

There will be no vacuum out of the EGR solenoid, hence no vacuum at the port on the EGR valve, unless the valve is actuated by the PCM. Since it doesn't use EGR at idle or at WOT, you aren't going to see any vacuum just by pulling the hose off at idle.

Or did I miss the point of your question?
