The LT1's do not use a solenoid operated EGR valve. They are opened by a vacuum line, using a pulse width modulated vacuum solenoid, which is a separate part. The configuration is the same for all years, 93-97. There may be a difference in the part numbers for the actual EGR valve, based on system backpressure, but the way the valve functions it still the same.

All years look exactly like this:

thank you, i was doing some reading so i take it in a way if i delete the egr and get the block off plate, it will have no affect to any performance issues? as long as it is programed out?

You'll definitely need to get the EGR programmed out, otherwise you can count on an SES light. Also, removing the EGR can lead to a possible performance degrade from knock retard if you receive detonation from excessive combustion temps.

Since he has a 94, there's only about a 1 in 5 chance that he will get a code when deleting the EGR, at least DTC 32. If he deletes the solenoid, he needs a resistor.
