It should still pass. I deleted air and egr and pass easily with room to spare.

Do they check for NOx? That's what EGR controls. Without EGR, NOx will increase, particularly if the engine is running hot or on the lean side.

well it failed a visual inspection but passed the emissions part

bunch of them gathered around and I heard one guy say it's throwing a 3 so I'm thinking that was enough to arouse suspicion... anyway throwing the egr back on but it will be removed again

Where did you go for inspection? I go to the little shop on the corner of Cheyenne and rainbow. The guy popped the hood, and hooked up wire and started car. Put the probe at the end of tail pipe and did his thing. No visual or anything. Took all of 5 minutes. Passed too.

^ not looking for gains... not looking to pump exhaust gases into a clean intake either

Terribles - corner of durango and flamingo... avoid Vegas Auto Care or Precision Tune (these guys failed it on visual). Terribles always takes care of me and I should have gone there first but Precision was closer go figure.

btw besides the rain nice weather we had this weekend eh? Who else is in town?
