EGR delete Need Help

Hey Guys Im in the middle of a cam swap and the manifold is out getting powder coated and when I was pulling it off I noticed there is SO MUCH **** conneceted to the manifold so I want to delete a bunch of it.

I have a 97 Z28 and the EGR and Evap are already deleted from the PCM, but they are still hooked up. So what exactly do I get to delete what ports besides the ones on the back can I plug or weld closed?

Sorry but on that crap I cant tell FPR, from Evap, from EGR things and pics would be helpful to.

Thanks

You will need to get block off plates, total of three. One for where the egr valve goes. And the other two for where the tube that connects the passenger side exhaust manifold to the back of the intake manifold. You can remove the egr solenoid and cap off where it connects to the intake manifold on the drivers side. If you have tunned out AIR you can remove the air pump vacuum solenoid and cap off where it connects to the air diverter valve and the intake manifold.

From Shoebox's website. All can go. Plug off the hoses and get 3 EGR block off plates. They don't cost much.

I just installed LTs and only used the AIR/EGR plates I still have the tear drop shaped plate that would of gone on the stock manifolds right?

The cover for the hole on the header or manifold is an oval, with a single hole in it. If your headers didn't have an EGR connection on #8 primary, you don't need that plate.

I was under the impression that all you really needed to block off on the manifold was the actual flange the EGR mounted to; the other hole didn't matter.
