Effects of TB soaking in degreaser.

I took my throttle body off today and its pretty dirty, i tried scrubbing with degreaser, but will take forever to clean the whole thing up. I have a dunk tank with degreasing solvent in it and i was wondering if it would harm anything in the TB if i soaked it in there for a day??? Also what is all in the inside of the throttle body itself, and gaskets or o-rings at all?

take the sensors off, and go to the store and buy a TB gasket set, then soak away, replace the gaskets and reinstall the sensors

oh, the only o-rings seal the sensors, and the only gaskets are on the top plate and bottom IAC housing

Thanks, already took off the sensors, so i'll get the gaskets and soak it. Also the cover on top should i take that and the rubber seal off to, or leave that on, or does it even matter.
