edelbrock lt1 intake+52TB

i have a mildly built 95z i went to the track 2 weeks ago and ran a best of 11.37 @116 i bolted on the new edelbrock lt1 intake and 52mm tb and ran it 3 times with a best of 11.42,11.46,11.47? all 116MPH or very close and all 1.6 60 foot times? i thought for sure i would at least pick up a couple tenths?and some MPH? do i need to retune the computer if so what needs to change? more fuel added since it is getting more air?thanks in advance for any opinions?

did you do anything to the intake or just bolt it on?

conditions probly explain most of it but your mph is the same(and seems to be pretty low to me)

looks like traction may be the issue. brought my car to the track once on a 383 when temps outside were like 35*. car wouldnt launch, but i was still around 114 and 116mph in the end with a 14 flat time slip....seems to me i should have been in the LOW 12's at highest.

How do you know its getting more air? What is the basis for figuring you would "pick up a couple tenths"?

If by some chance the Edelbrock did improve air flow, the MAF sensor would "see" that extra air flow and add the extra fuel. You don't need a "tune".

Without the details of what "mildly modified" means, its very difficult to assess the impact of the Edelbrock. What heads are you running? Can we assume you had a stock LT1 intake earlier? Was any work done to it based on the modifications to the heads? What is the displacement of the engine? What cam?

Not enough info to answer the question.

i figured i would pick up a couple tenths and some MPH because it is suppose to be a better flowing intake and throttle body which should make more power? my car is stock displacement, with an lt4 hot cam, stock heads,i had stock intake and TB before and just bolted the edelbrock intake and TB on with new gaskets.it has a trick flow elbow, granatelli meter,ls1 coil per cylinder,K+N cold air, hooker long tubes,3 inch exhaust, flowmaster muffler,FLP level 4 tranny with B+M cooler and pan, vigilante 3500 stahl,342 gears and MT et street radials.on the motor before it went a best of 12.70 and this last time it went 12.91 twice?

Question

First post it was an 11.37 ET, last post it's 12.70 ET. Did you leave N2O out of your mod list?
