edelbrock lt1 intake+52TB
i have a mildly built 95z i went to the track 2 weeks ago and ran a best of 11.37 @116 i bolted on the new edelbrock lt1 intake and 52mm tb and ran it 3 times with a best of 11.42,11.46,11.47? all 116MPH or very close and all 1.6 60 foot times? i thought for sure i would at least pick up a couple tenths?and some MPH? do i need to retune the computer if so what needs to change? more fuel added since it is getting more air?thanks in advance for any opinions?
looks like traction may be the issue. brought my car to the track once on a 383 when temps outside were like 35*. car wouldnt launch, but i was still around 114 and 116mph in the end with a 14 flat time slip....seems to me i should have been in the LOW 12's at highest.

If by some chance the Edelbrock did improve air flow, the MAF sensor would "see" that extra air flow and add the extra fuel. You don't need a "tune".
Without the details of what "mildly modified" means, its very difficult to assess the impact of the Edelbrock. What heads are you running? Can we assume you had a stock LT1 intake earlier? Was any work done to it based on the modifications to the heads? What is the displacement of the engine? What cam?
Not enough info to answer the question.
How do you know its getting more air? What is the basis for figuring you would "pick up a couple tenths"?
