See thats what i wanna hear. Not oh just get longtubes blah blah blah.. Well I had longtubes for a period of 13hrs. Were they good yes, were they loud yup, was ground clearence hindered OH YEA... Only reason Im going back to shorties is because going over a speed bump my longtubes went buhbye.... Longtubes + Lowered Car = Going back to shorties. Guess Ill throw the edelbrocks on

I don't get the "mid length" sales pitch either. Why not go with some SLP's since they are 1" 3/4 instead of 1 5/8ths? Seems like that'd be the best choice if you don't want the hassle of long tubes but want maxium performance.

Well i had 1-3/4 slp dualcat headers and i didnt notice a difference between them and the manifolds to tell you the truth. I just dont want to deal with longtubes again. Hope the edelbrocks will clear my aftermarket kmember though.
