Unhappy E.t.

I just ran my Camaro with the G-tec and the time was 14.89@102.99 ,this can't be right
Has any one ran the G-tec and backed it up with actual ETs at the track?
I had a '77 trans am that ran 15 all day and the Camaro is way faster

From what I have heard the G-tech is inaccurate. That is why I never bought one. The road you are on has to be completely flat or something or it screws up...I dunno but I have seen a G-tech time be close to an actual E.T. time at the track. A stock Z should be running somewhere in the 14.5 to high 13's at around 98 mph.

When set up correctly, the G-Tech will generally produce ET's that are within 1/10th of the track ET you will see. It's the MPH that is really screwed up, generally the G-Tech will show 4 to 8 MPH higher than you will actually see at the track.

To make sure you have a level road, run the tests in both directions and compare the results. It the road isn't level, they will not be close.
