I don't know how far you are from THESE guys, but when I emailed them a year and a half ago, they told me their dyno tune was about $100/hr. Might not hurt to drop them an email.

385.00 for the first hour is outrageous. Depending on the extent of your mods you can spend anywhere from 300-500 for a complete dynotune.

droptopz,

Don't know how far away you are from Greensboro, this shop does it for $100/hr dynotune, $75 for 3 pulls, no tune.

Turbo-Tune US LTD
941 S Chapman St G'boro
336-378-1252

THey use a Dynojet Chassis Dyno.

I need to get my truck running right, then going to get a base pull on it.

good luck.

I'm just now really getting into the z rage. I was s-10 for so long, i wanted a camaro bad, but never really talked to any of the guys, might want to check these guys out and ask them. I attended one of their meets, they are a bunch of really nice people.

I'll ride down there once my truck is running again and scope it out, ask some stuff to see if they know what their doing. they sound really busy on the phone, so I would say that's a good sign.

My friend Bob Kennedy does dynotuning and charges $125/h. Fully instruemented (2 wide band AF meters, up to 8 EGT probes, FP, IAT, MAP, water temp, oil temp, etc.). He does it all himself and has <40y high performance experience. Unless it were the ghost of Smokey Yunick doing the tuning or something like that, I'd say $385/h is absurd.

Do you have his address and phone number? Is he in Buffalo? That wouldn't be too long of a drive from Cleveland.
