i am just looking to get a muffler right now cause i cant really decide on what catback i want. i chose dynomax as the brand to get b/c i get a discount on them (not much but somethin). which one will sound best on my car like most intimidating/performing?

 

I've had two Super Turbo mufflers on my car, 17739 crossflow and now 17740 2OTL that came with my catback. 17739 is fairly quiet going slow and sounds pretty good when you get on it. 17740 is louder.
Dynomax is doing a $25 rebate on catbacks until May 15.

 

I'd go with Ultra Flow, I know those are a straight through design.

 

how do you get the $25 rebate?

I am considering the 17740. I have a flowmaster 80 series crossflow, and i think even the 17740 will way outflow it and be quieter (i want quieter...quieter at idle, quieter at cruise, quieter at WOT...i just want quieter!!)

dont get the super turbo. i have em on my xpipe and it is WAY to quiet.

 

My vote is the Ultraflow. If you really want to wake the dead get a Bullet.
