Thumbs up Dynomax catback installed today

I ordered a Dynomax 3" 2OTL type catback from Summit on Wednesday. $195 with a $25 rebate! It was installed today. Good fit, my muffler guy was happy. The only shortcoming is that the ends are ugly so I'll be ordering some chrome tips. Sounds good, deeper than before with almost no popping on deceleration, and feels like a little power increase. Next project: roller rockers!

A catback system is a nice upgrade on these cars and they sound great to.

I have been reading on here that a catback will not yeild that many ponys vs. a cutout? Is this true? Thanks guys. Noah

Yes, it's a full catback. No pics yet. I'll wait until I get tips put on.
There seems to be a power increase. A little more wheelspin in first, a little quicker to the shift light in second. My butt meter is poorly calibrated but it seems a little faster.

Whats the part number for the two on the left type muffler, it must be a super turbo one and not the ultra flow right?

A cutout has potential to make more power since its fully open. The only catback dyno I can recall seeing was a Borla, and it made about 1.1HP IIRC, www.ws6.com has it in the dyno/bang for the buck section.

Muffler p/n is 17740. It is a Super Turbo. 3" in, dual 2.5" out.

Thats what I figured, I wish they'd make a ultra flow with the same specs.
