With some tuning you should be happy with the results

Re: dyno, should i be disapointed?

Untuned I bet the rev limiter is fast approaching at those rpms.

I put 290 down with a good bit smaller cam through a high stalled auto with a heavier drivetrain with a rich AFR 11.8-12.1 and on a Superflo no less which reads lower than a Dynojet. Torque was hard to get a good bead on due to the TC and a downshift issues but was over 350 at 4100rpms and this cam probably peaked back down around 3500.

Get the car tuned you will be signifigantly rewarded.

They should have at least taken it to the limiter. HP is still climbing, it should peak at around 6000-6200 rpm. As already mentioned, a tune is in need.

No, you should not be disappointed with what you have there.

I would be happy, isn't that basically what the LT4 makes...and you're making it without the heads.

The LT4 did not come with the HOT cam though and that is what he has here.

You should have more power - do you have the 1.6 Rockers as well or just the Hotcam?

Without a tune, I'd say you're not doing too shabby.

Re: dyno, should i be disapointed?

I would get some 1.6 rockers and get it tuned. Headers tend to make more noise causing the stock tune/knock module to pull more timing than normal and that could really hurt hp.

You could maybe gain 30 or so horse from tuning and 1.6 rockers.
