Dyno #'s and Opti ???'s!

I got back from the dyno today and was dissapointed, but thought over some stuff and figured some ideas to be the problem. My 3 pulls were...

#1 - 257.4 rwhp / 279.1 rwtq
#2 - 258.4 rwhp / 278.1 rwtq
#3 - 256.0 rwhp / 280.1 rqtq

These numbers are with all that is currently in my sig. Previously before my Rockers I dynoed the numbers that are in my sig. Now, last December my water pump went south and started leaking all over. So I got that replaced, and only that. Though I know most people say to replace the opti since the water pump can mostly likely kill it if it leaks all over. I have not changed the opti in my entire time of the owning the car (3 years / 30K miles) and I doubt the dealer where I bought it from or the previous owner had changed it either. So, I figure it's still the original. What i'd like to know is if this could be the cause of my weak dyno results? The guys at the dyno shop said my graph was really wavy and was more than likely an ignition/electrical related. I did have new wires and plugs put in March of 03' when I had the rockers installed. Any input or help would be great!

Here is a link to my dyno sheet. I know it's burry, but should be able to see the graph. DYNO SHEET

You definetely have some ignition problems. Looks like you were getting some knock retard, but it may be the opti as well. It's an ignition problem.

I don't think that those numbers are bad, maybe its just me. Juding by the shaky graph I do think that you have some pinging problems...

Any ideas on what would be causing the pinging? The car is pretty much stock in my eyes, and I run 91 octance to elimate as much possibly ping as I can.

Your air/fuel isn't good at all, either. Looks like it's hovering around 11.5-12. Increase that to around 13-13.5 and you'll make a good bit more power

I know the graph is fuzzy and hard to see, but the A/F ratio is between 12-13 until 5K RPM. From then on it's below 12.

IT should be above 13 for the entire pull.

I could get a tune, but it would seem pretty worthless once more major mods go on. Have to get it tuned all over again. And still got this ABS INOP light on.....

So no one else thinks the opti could be a part of the problem?

I don't think thats bad for an A4 with what you have. Have you looked into tuning with an update package? IMHO they are worth it even on stock cars.

Your opti is suspect since your wp went out, but you also might want to try a new coil before you go to all that trouble.

Yeah, the coil is something I have not thought about. I could look into seeing if I can get some sort of update for tuning after mods from the guy around here.
