It is likely this is your problem. I fried my number 5 plug wire once and the car did not miss much at idle, but under a load I could tell something was wrong. At wot with the fried wire the car would fill sluggish; on the freeway I would go wot and get passed by stock dodge rams. And you should easily make 400 at the tires through the m6.
