mine went 424 Rwhp 486 #ft tq on 100hp wet shot producing 73 hp to the wheels. and we jetted it up- lost HP but gained torque- pulled 501.13 #ft tq @ 3300 RPM.

car pulls 351rwhp 398 # ft t on motor.

6 speed man. ported heads, stock fuel system leaky *** headers. stock 3.42's out of a 97 SS, stock suspension, and a small cam.

Note from Moderator: PLEASE do not post oversize photos, it really screws up the formatting of the thread.

notice in the bottom graph, it does 2 lil swirls?

edit, i am looking at the graph in front of me. in the red ( nitrous pass) where it starts to get all wiggly ( about 5600 RPM) the A/F drops down into the 10's.
whereas throughout both passes the A/F was 11.5.

Brian, remember when Justin showed us how smoothing of the graph cleaned it up. Look at your graph again and see what he set the smoothing to. The graph above is set to 5. Yours was on 0 I think when he printed it out. I still say the ignition is making it do the weird stuff at the end. Think about it... original opti.

Re: dyno results.. nitrous

yeah it is at 0
i think the surging is the alternator, and everything else is the opti.

I was under the impression of the same thing plus the torque figures are skewed with an automatic. I have seen your hp figure coupled with 470+ on the torque figure. I have only had my 6 speed dyno'd so I don't know for sure. What did the guys at that shop say about your numbers? Usually they have have a comment on the figures. I guess if someone with a similar setup is going .6 quicker in the quarter then apparently you have more potential but I'd be very happy to go 12.7 with my LT1. I guess I'm too easily impressed.

Re: dyno results.. nitrous

once i get this popping figured, shouldnt have a problem hitting low 12's. then it might be traction away from 11's.

they didnt say much, besides get ur ignition fixed and after the car is tuned that it should pick up some power.
450rw is possible

12.7 was before the fuel pump, his car had a 15:1 a/f N/A... no new times yet, he just dynoed this past Saturday and hasn't run the car again yet.

Re: dyno results.. nitrous

I'm thinking Tuesday as that is test & tune and younger people in school will probably be absent. My hold up is the blowdown through the floor and I have my dash apart because I'm installing my scanmaster. I'm so slow doing this stuff. It took me a day and a half putting my in-line fuel booster in last week. I can't figure getting two things done in the next 4 or 5 hours.

I'm positive I won't be seeing 12s with my 125 zex shot. What I have seen is about .8 gains from other posts so I'm hoping to see low 13s. Man my car sure feels slow without the nitrous now!
