Dyno numbers in! w/355 heads and cam

Well after about three months of putting this set up together, finally got her tuned. Thanks to all the help from everyone!

It made 400.8RWHP and 365 RWTQ.

The heads and cam where from Phil at Advanced Induction. A big thanks goes out to him for putting up with my millions of phone calls. Also, thanks to christian for a great tune!!!!

what are some of your guys running with your heads and cam 355's? I need some comparison numbers. thanks

Eric

Considering that it did 400rw initially through full exhaust and at 11.X a/f... then 401/365 SAE & 412/375rw STD with 32deg of timing (28 in the tables) through full exhaust, I think theres a little more in it. Maybe we can finangle with it later when you get ambitious again .

I hope you're happy with it.

Back to my cave...

I am no tuning god at all, but what I did was fix my AF on the dyno and then went for some testing on the timing, I didn't get very much time to play with the timing but I was running a good bit more than you were.

The stroker guys back off timing in some spots but 350/355, should be pretty darn close to the same. I also knew that I'd spend time on the street with timing work anyway, the important thing was getting the dyno for my AF work.

Awesome numbers. Whats the car like to drive on the street? Good power down low? I'm hoping to be ordering my A.I. heads in June sometime

thanks guys. the car is awesome to drive on the street. And having a full exhaust really makes it nice. I dynoed a wopping 1.4 hp more with open headers. The 4 inch mufflex is a very sweet piece.

It seems to have a little bit better driving manners in open loop rather than closed. Sometime when I get some time i am going to mess with the tuning a little and try some things that phil thinks will help. but right now, I am going to enjoy driving it.
