In my opinion, the stock manifolds are only good to a certain point before they really start holding you back. truedualws6 has an awesome street setup, but once his cam when in, I think the manifolds started choking his system pretty good. With headers, I think his system is just about perfect for my kind of street car without heads being ported. If it were me, I wouldn't do anything more than a catback at this time, and then save up the $$$ for headers. Eventually, you are going to regret not just going with midlength or long tubes right at the begininning. If you stay with the stock manifolds now, you most likely will be throwing out exhaust tubing later when you put in headers.
