Re: To dual or not to dual

HELL yeah ford I would absolutely love to hear that!!! Also unless I extend the exhaust out beyond the body of the car my car will not pass inspection, if it was an OBDII car it might be overlooked since to do one of those inspections most people check tires and under the hood at the belt and fluids then plug it in, however Im an OBDI and you have to run it on the dyno so it would be obvious when they had to go underneith the car to insert the probe...

Cool ill take some video tonight. There are alot of people that run them under or over the axle, I definently say go for it. If not for the sound or power, just for the the fact they are true duals

Edit: could you go outside plano to get it inspected? I get mine inspected all over the place with no problem, even with the cut-out right after the ORP open.

Re: To dual or not to dual

well If they inspect your car in a non emmissions county then thats illegal, but if they are doing the emmissions test then they are supposed to check for exhaust leaks or cutouts or dumps etc.. my shop always does and most places around here do. I honestly dont know how you get yours done lol unless you dont live in texas and the inspection laws are different. Yes I could go outside of plano as long as I was getting an ASM sticker but chances are they wouldnt pass it and I would still have to pay the 39.50 for the inspection sucks...

Just saw that you are from austin, really your exhaust is supposed to extend out from under the body of the car to pass legally but maybe they are more easy going over there

Re: To dual or not to dual

i pay 12.50 for inspection. San Antonio/Austin dont have emissions as far as i know.

They just make sure you have cats and mufflers, your lights work and a working horn. Thats all i have ever gotten checked. No sniffers, rollers, or other bs.

Maybe you should move

But with true duals and no cutouts, you have no flanges hanging down like I do. Thats worth a good 1/2", and prevents catching on that big crack in my driveway
