Dual exhaust with cut-outs?

Just a quick question. I am thinkign about getting a cutout but since my 96 z has true duals, do i need to get a cutout for each cat or just one? will the car run funny if one side flows better than the other? thanks
Bill

I'd get one after the collector and before the cats on each side.

it all depends on the setup since true duals are custom jobs, each is at least a little different. get under there and imagine where it'll be placed, and see if you can get your hand under there easily. or you could just do electric cutouts

No disrespect intended, but are you sure you have true dual exhaust and not a dual cat ypipe with a dual tip muffler?
