Dual Cat Exhaust swap

Anyone have a 93-94 with the single cat and go to a dual setup from the later 95-97's? I wanted to see what would be involved, right now I've got a 3" single pipe to a 2 chamber flowmaster with 3" outlets the I put in in the late 90's. It's deafending/overwhelming at times, thinking of upgrading the whole system with headers, the dual cats and possibly a stailness cat back setup. Any thoughts on the dual cat swap and where to get them, other parts needed, etc.?

Why wouldnt you just go with aftermarket exhaust? Also this is better suited for the exhaust section of the forum.

You should be able to have the catback modified to bolt up to your y-pipe. I'm going to add cat's to my true dual setup since I'm sick of smelling like gas whenever I drive my car.

It will require some modification to the i-pipe portion of the catback and you would have to have the rear 02 sensors removed and the bungs welded up. Frankly, it is alot of work for no gains. You would be better off just putting in a high flow cat in place of what you have now.

I never understoody why people would only put 1 cat on a "high performance car" since it would be a huge flow restriction...

If you want to do it cheap all you need is to find a used setup from someone
along with the drivers side exhaust manifold. It should just bolt up and other
than extending/moving the location of the O2 sensor wiring I think it would
be fairly simple.
