Has anyone ever set DTC P1371 before? I was driving my roommate's 96 Z28 around town, then I came home, shut it off, and went inside. Came back out a few minutes later, and it started up, sputtered for about 5 seconds, died, and now it won't start. We've unhooked the battery and cleared the code, but it keeps setting it. The local dealership said it was the opti, but the opti has less than 5000 miles on it. Does anyone else have any ideas? Thanks.

 

check the opti connector for good contact and no dirt, debris, corrosion or moistire. if thats ok looks like your low resolution signal went and it;s time for an opti
