droping motor got a ? about trans elec. conector
droping motor got a ? about trans elec. conector
well i have all the wiring off except for the wire bundle that goes down the back of the intake area, i am guessing that is the on for the trans because i havnt unpluged that yet.
So i am having a problem undoing the wires from the lil plastic clips that hold them to the block
if someone could help please.

I guess I dont quite understand the question. Are you trying to pull the motor out the top or out the bottom? What wires are you trying to remove, and from what.
Re: droping motor got a ? about trans elec. conector
If you are dropping it out the bottom, I would imagine you are leaving the trans connected (no reason not to). No need to disconnect the harness from the trans if you are pulling the harness with the engine.
Re: droping motor got a ? about trans elec. conector
i am droping it out the bottom, how can i keep the harness hooked up? do i have to pull all the wires out of the fire wall?
from what it looks like the wire harness that pluged into the trans will be pulled if i try to raise the frame off the motor, and i dont see how i could leave it all hocked up
FYI i am swapping out the motor

You can either disconnect the wiring harness from the motor and trans or you can disconnect the wiring inside the car on the passenger side under the kick panel. This will allow the harness to come out with the engine and trans. I have done it both ways, neither is really better then the other.
Follow the KISS theory. Keep It Simple Stupid. Just think in general terms, the motor has to come out, so ANYTHING holding it in the car must be disconnected. It really is just common sense and time to do it right. Good luck
