I just put a new mallory 685 Hyfire on ym car for my nitrous, and I set the rev limiter on it at 5700 (a4). Now, right before it shifts, it studdered a tiny bit. I didn't replace the coil on my car when I got it as well, The car has 26K miles on it. It only started doing this when the I got the mallory. Do I need to raise the mallory's rev limiter to 5800? Is my coil crapping out? any other suggestions? It does it a tiny bit, but just enough to not want to run my nitrous with it.

 

I set the Mallory rev limiter at 5,800, and it still did it, just not as often.
Can anyone think of some things I should check before I start buying parts?
