draining engine coolent

I was wondering if anybody new a good method to catch most ALL of the coolent without getting it dirty, while removing the water pump. I just redid my coolent system and now need to have the pump off again as I think the opti is going.

I have several containers to hold the coolent in, and want to reuse it. However, last time I removed the waterpump it was a bloody mess. How can I acomplish this and drain most everything into a container for reuse?

Thanks!

Place your container under the petcock on the radiator, thats about the only coolant you will be able to keep "clean"

When you do the drain out of the radiator, make sure the cap is off, and also loosen your air bleed screws to get all you can out.

there is a 'plug' in the same local as the knock sensor but on the opposite side of the engine. not sure if you will be able to get something under it and keep it clean but you could look at it and see.
Even if you drained the block down some, you wouldn't loose so much when you pull the WP.
