How do I change my dowel pin without messing it up. My stock one measures .620 and the one on my comp cam is alot longer. What is the best thing to do. Thanks

Just dremel it off and sand the tip smooth

or grinding wheel or something along those lines, just keep an eye on length as to not take away too much

you only need to swap them if the new one is too short

I did as Spinner suggests. I took a grinder and brought mine down to .615". I also put a slight (I did say slight) bevel edge at the tip on mine. The dowel's OD should not be more than .250".

I just measured with a tape measure the length it needed to be and then marked the pin and cut it off with a dremel tool.
