Well, it's done. Mobil 1 10w30, 5 quarts, and a Fram oil filter, they don't carry mobil oil filters. After I started it up, for the first 1 sec there were 3 quick ticks, then it went away. Any idea what it could be. And yes, I put oil in the filter before putting it back on.

It could be the Fram oil filter causing it. Many people report more startup noise with those filters.

I'd avoid Fram oil filters like the plague...

I use K&N, but the Wix/NAPA Golds are also good, so are the STP/Walmart Supertechs.
