Valvoline durablend 5w-30. PF25 AC Delco filters are no longer made. I found this out when I tried to buy one. Its actually PF454, the one I settled on.

Talking EASY JOB

I work at a quick lube and change about 50 cars a day.My 1995 TA is about the easiest car ever to do. I use rottela T for turboe diesel trucks but i have many many mods including nitrous this oil is so thick you would think it would slow do the pistons but it is a very high quality oil that hardly breaks down after 3000 miles. if you have very littl moods i would use mobil 1 10w 30 synthetic a little more than what u need but more protection can NEVER EVER HURT!!!!

hey guys, two more questions. First one, exactly how much oil do I put into it? The car is up on jack stands as we speak. Also, does anyone here have the links to the owners manual and the parts catalog? I lost them when I restarted my comp and had to reboot everything, thx.

Someone here has to have some idea about how much oil it uses. No manual came with my car, and I downloaded the one from the forum a month ago, but I had to reformat the comp. Anyone??

Your LT-1 uses 5 qts of oil.
I use the PureOne oil filters by Puroilater.
If you only have the front end jacked up, so the car looks like its doing a wheel stand, you're leaving a bunch of oil in the pan. You wouldnt need to add 5 qts in that case.

I thought it is 4.5qt. in the LT1. Maybe I'm wrong.

By the way I use Mobil 1 Full syn. 5w-30. with a Fram filter.

The manual lists 4.5 quarts but it's wrong, it's 5 quarts. You can go with 5.25 if you run the long filter.
