Does the PCM use 02's if SES is tripped?

Does the PCM use 02's if SES is tripped?
I have this stubborn stumble when hot/ under load. I wanted to see if it was the 02's. I unplugged the MAF which tripped the SES, but the stumble was still there. So, does the computer use the O2's or is it something else?
