Aye, I made the mistake of forgetting it while doing early tuning on my standalone, she idled @ 3500. But on a maf car it might die, so I would not worry about it.

True but the threshold is much higher for vacuum leak with speed density and pulling the brake booster hose will tend to make your idle jump whereas with MAF it will fall unless your idle is a bit rich.

If you're talking about the one with a carburetor, if its idle jumps your idle mixture screw is set rich, if the idle falls then your idle mixture is probably set perfect or a little lean.
