Does an ignition box cause more poping from the exhaust?

Does an ignition box cause more poping from the exhaust?
Well I put on my ported intake manifold, 58mm throttle body, and mallory 685 box at the same time, but now the exhaust pops more under deceleration. Is this normal? And I'm 100% sure I don't have any vacume leaks or anything.
