I'm really interested to have a look at the powerband of this cam. Where it peaks, what the TQ curve is like, how high you have to spin, ect. I just haven't seen a sheet posted yet.

Still has lots down low. I say it didnt lose anything above 2k rpms. 2k and below it may be down a tad, but i still have no issues with destroying a set of drag radials out back from rolling hard into the throttle (not clutch drop, just throttle) in 2nd gear and 2.5k rpms.

Man oh man.......imagine the possibilities. Nice graph. I've got a nice set of ported heads, and with my 224/230 am looking at putting in a set of 1.7 rockers I've got sitting here. That 847 may be in my future though. I like that the peak was at about 6000 or so with it starting it's drop off at about 6500. Very nice indeed. The torque curve could be a little more flat, but I think I could live with it. Thanks!

I did a desk top dyno with AI's full port heads (that i have) the GM847 and assoc. boltons and it showed the peak power to be at 7500rpm
with ported heads your peak is gonna be higher then the 6000 shown in that graph (atljar has stock unported heads), granted not 7500rpm but i would imagine it would be above atleast 6400rpm

Here's mine with Advanced Induction "Econport" heads that flow 255/188 @ .500 lift, 1.5 roller rockers with all the bolt-ons and 11.86:1 compression ratio

Power peaked at 6400rpm. Nice torque curve huh?

THAT, is a nice torque curve. I'm just sketchy on spinning my bottom end so high. I will say this though.

If the 1.7 rockers don't put my 224/230 car up to about 290, I'm probably going to swap out. I figure I should see 15 like the guy with the hotcam/ported head combo did with the 1.7's. We shall see.....
