What do you need an aluminum elbow for on a RA setup? there is no bends in the intake track; unless you have a different setup than what I think you do...

no my setup is the same. There are just the ridges in the intake boot, and it's kind of smashed together. I thought maybe there was an aluminum boot that was already the right length asside from smashing, and that wouldnt cause turbulence from the ridges. I wanted it to be smooth from air box until TB sinc ei have a ported MAF.

I cant think of the name right now, but I know that there is something you can buy from Home Depot I think that is the right dimensions, but doesnt have any of the rippling in it. I would say search it, but am not sure what to search for.

Yeah, Home Depot has what you need. Believe Fred's (Injuneer) mentioned it in more than a few threads.... made by "Fernco" or something like that. Search his username.

edit: Ahh heck, I'll save you the trouble.

Good luck.

Fernco Coupler... 3" x 3", heat it up for a minute in boiling water to make it strechier, then install. I've run one between my MAF and TB since I owned my car, and I run a Z06 MAF so I use 1/2 of one between the airbox and MAF as well. There are pics of it on my car domain page linked from my Profile here.

Fernco part # 1056-33. $5 including 2 stainless clamps, at your local hardware store, in the plastic pipe section.
