Does anyone have the LE3 package?
I am helping a friend of mine with his 95 Z28.
Stock bottom end .030 over, balanced.
LE heads, LE spec'd him the LE3 cam, 23x/24x, can't remember the lift. Patriot gold xtreme dual springs.
LE suggested Mr. Gasket head gaskets, I think they are .21 thickness to up the compression, I think they have to be shim gaskets to be that thin.
The car has all the normal bolt ons, T56, 4.10 gears.
Does anyone have this setup? Any suggestions or input?
Thanks for any info.
Jason

If you just interested in results do some searches on "Lloyd Elliott heads camshaft" or something like that and you'll get plenty to read about. That setup should be well over 400rwhp and run 11's easily depending on conditions. Lloyd is busy this time of year, but all of these questions could be answered with one call to him. I'm assuming that if your buddy bought all that stuff then he should already know what he's getting into. Lloyd has always been good about communicating with customers.
The Mr. Gasket is .026" and the Impala is .029".
I'm not sure what you need help with helping your friend with, but hopefully that answered some questions.

I think I should reword my post. I reread it and you guys are right, there was really no question in there. LOL. I will do a search, I don't know why I didn't. I talked to my friend tonight and he has the LE2 heads with 2.0 intake valves. I can't remember the exhaust.
Thank you for the replies.
