Do you bleed the ABS when bleeding the brakes

When you guys bleed the brakes do you bleed the ABS. Ive heard people go both ways with this. Doesnt the fluid go through the ABS from the master cylinder anyway?

What have you guys done?

The GM manual tells you to bleed the ABS. Personally I don't bleed the ABS unless I have air in the system (i.e. let the reservoir run dry). If you want to bleed the ABS, there are 2 fittings that face forward on the module.
