Do new AC delco AFS75 O2s look like this?

I just bought some new Delco AFS75 O2 sensors and they look quite a bit different than they did a few years ago when I changed them....is this how the new Delcos are supposed to look?
The new one on the bottom, old on top..see how the tip has holes in it rather than the finned slots? And the upper part is now thinner...it came in a Delco box, but the sensor does not say " AC Delco" or even "AFS75" anywhere on it like the old Delcos did.
A friend of mine ordered them from his repair shop, unless his supplier is shipping bogus Delco stuff, I'd think these were Delcos.

Yes, that is the correct sensor. The design did change.

I have bought several AC Delco parts and could not believe the crap they are packaging as OEM! I bought a fuel pump for my Jimmy and it was $350 and it looked nothing like the origional and I had to slice the connector which is bogus for the price I paid. I hope the performance is not lacking.

If there are the corret replacement sensors, aside from the different appearance, I wonder if they are indeed 'improved'. Does anyone know what the functional difference, if any, is?

Thanks for the replies and reassurance. I've installed 2 of them in my LT4 truck and they seem to work fine, no more failed O2 codes and the LTcounts/correction seems to be much better than before, those old ones look to be be running a bit rich, which the LTcounts were over 140, now they are in the mid 130s...have 2 more I got for the TA when they go.

I replaced an o2 sensor about a year ago and it looked exactly like the old one you took out.Mine was a Delphi part.

But the appearance of the Delphi's changed over the past year. I've seen posts where people bought a pair of AFS75 sensors, and got one of each design.
