Do I need to reset PCM after installing new TPS?
Hey guys I am putting a new TPS in my car and i am wondering if i need to unplug the battery for a little bit to reset the PCM. If so how long do i need to unplug it for?

thanks

The TPS isn't adjustable, so the PCM looks at the closed throttle voltage, sets whatever voltage it sees (at long as its less than 0.90V) as 0% throttle, then prorates to 100% throttle from there. There is no "memory" or storage of the reading... it checks it every time you start the engine. Leave the PCM alone.
