Question do I need to clearance the T/C for cloyes?

fixing to install t/c and I need to know if I need to grind any on the cover. I seen a post with a pic awhile back where the guy had it highlighted in orange where it needed to be but I cant find it. Is it even needed. I'v got the cloyes true roller, cps deleted and w/p hole plugged so I'm ready to go. I dont wanna put it on and have to take it back off!! My back up car laid down on my so I got to get this thing running, Help!!!!!!

I did not have to clearance mine when I switched to a cloyes timing chain. I had the cover off the other day after 10000miles and there was no sign of rubbing on the cover.

I did just to be safe.
I'm talking about 30 to 40 thousands worth of it.
I first did a dry fit (no gasket) and turned the motor over to see if I could here anything and I did.

Modified Cover

Everything in the redish color I took down. Maybe just my cover had more stuff on it. Do a dry fit just to make sure it's now rubbing.

Seems to be on a case by case basis. Some people do and some do not. I did the conversion and did not have to modify the cover.
Just do a pre fit and see if you need to or not.

I only modified the area at the top where you plug the old wp drive hole. I ground it down like Ken showed in his pic. Other than that I did no other modification to it and it has been working fine with the Cloyes double roller.
