My car was 3680 with me in it. 94 Z-28 M-6 ran a 13.01@109
with bolt ons.. Rk Sport headers, Borla cat back, no cat converter, Moroso cold air HPP programming..

Certainly having a lighter car will help, but as i said before, the mods he has on that motor will allow for him to hit 110 in the 1/4. The headers and rocker arms are huge on those cars, i dont know why some people are so surprised about the speed. If he can get out of the hole better he has a low 13 possibly high 12 car.

I must be missing something, but I don't see any mods that would provide that MPH in the quarter. 1.6rrs and 1 5/8 headers aren't, in my opinion going to get it. I'll go with weight scenario. JMHO

Rocker arms are good for 15hp, headers the same, good flowing muffler, posi rear, some suspension work, and a bit of a lighter car, but they are not that much lighter. LT1s run on average 99-101 stock, with significant mods on those motors like rocker arms and headers, what other mods might you be looking for?

No way in hell that a LT1 camaro with no mods will first beat a Corvette, Saleen, or LS1, nor will it come anywhere near putting down 320 at the wheels. So i think that your *** is a bit off in the power measurement, might want to get it calibrated.

I have beaten many ls1's on the street and I can beat stock c5 corvettes. I have a 94 B4C with no cat and a new cam and a k&n intake. It is an m6 with a centerforce dual friction clutch. It is damn fast and has 145k on it now. I have never dynoed or put it on the track but i have raced the hell out of it on the street.

Well gee, if you have a cam and intake and other work then your not exactly stock with no mods are you. Thats how you can beat a Vette or an LS1. For those of you who might be confused a cam and headers mean that the car is no longer stock. Therefore the fact that you can beat a Vettes or LS1s that have little or no mods does not come as a huge surprise. The scenario described before by tanker of "oh it has stock manifolds and all stock motor" would make it impossible for an LT1 to take an LS1 Vette. Learn the proper definition of stock please.

I don't think these numbers are surprising. Your car weighs at least 300-500 less than a stock LT1. Stock LT1's will get into the low 14's with nothing on em. With what you have done, the only thing out of the norm is, as many have addressed, your MPH.

I've beaten several LS1s with the same or more bolt ons than I have. I can guarantee you those cars don't weight 3800lbs or more too.
