Do Granatelli MAF's advace timing?

Do Granatelli MAF's advace timing?

I've heard from some that it does yet i've heard from others that it only reads and reacts faster than stock and is only calibrated for the extra air that is passed through. The reason im askin is because I have a dry kit (n20) sitting here and I dont wanna spray just yet if im gonna be running extremely lean because of the GMS MAF. Anyone know?

i called there tech line and asked that exact question. i was told by granatelli that there is no tricking the computer to lean out the a/f. any gains come solely from the extra air flowing through the sensor. injectedss was doing some testing to verify.

No. The only real difference between a Granatelli and ported MAF ends is that the Granatelli sensor is calibrated for the larger cross sectional area of the MAF ends. The sensor reports to the PCM actual air flow... or at least it is supposed to

AHh ok i feel much better now. Thanks. I was doing some searching and ran across some MAF threads. I was about to sell my MAF and get a stock one. Now im not.
