Do air foils really work?

Question Do air foils really work?

Can installing this little thing really give you seven extra ponies at the wheels?

Its only worth about 2hp if anything.

If you can buy it used for cheap then go for it but other than that it aint worth it. I bought one when I first had my car cuz it was all the hype back then but I never saw/felt any gains from it. I still have it in the car now but with the blower I am probably looking at mabee 3-4HP more with the Airfoil added. Whopie!
But I figured I would rather keep the extra 3-4HP then sell it for 20 bucks or so.

it is not going to hurt. so why not... try to pick up an used one insead of buying a new one...

I guess so, but I think they are all just a piece of polished metal.
