Disconnect the clutch master cylinder pushrod? HELP QUICK!!
In the middle of trying to drop my tranny for a clutch swap and the Chiltons says to disconnect the clutch master cylinder pushrod before disconnecting the actuator cylinder. I assume this is the pushrod that connects to the clutch pedal itself? If not what/where is it? If it is, what/how do I disconnect it?!?! Thanks!

You really don't have to do that, but if there is any chance someone will step on the pedal you need to remove it. If you push the master cylinder with the slave unbolted from the trans you will destroy the slave. Same idea as always unhooking the negative battery cable.
Use a flathead screwdriver to remove the metal clip from the joint.

As long as you can remember NOT to push on the clutch pedal, while the slave cyl. is off the trans. don't worry about it.
If you were to push on the clutch pedal while the slave cyl.(actuator) is disconnected, it would break the seal and push fluid out, thus ruining your master/slave cyl..
I have pulled my trans. w/out disconnecting the pushrod.

We didn't have to do anything like that. There are two bolts holding the actuator to the bell housing. Unbolt it, move it out of the way. Pull off the spacer on the bell housing, reach in and pull the clutch fork away from the center of the throwout bearing. The tranny should now be free to remove.
Do not push in the clutch pedal once you remove the actuator.
