High RPM's on stock bottom end

How high do you think the stock bottom end can rev? I was looking at specs on the XE 224/230 and the powerband goes up to 6400. Can the bottom end take the engine spinning up to 6400 or will it blow? Thanks

also, is anybody here running combination motorsports heads?

Although a stock bottom end LT1 isn't really balanced passed 6000 RPM, many people have been safely reving all the way to 6800 with their cams. Granted ur getting proper fuel delivery and timing at those RPM with ur cam, i shouldn't see u having any problem.

I personally have been interested in the Cmotorsports heads, and i have talked with the techs at their customer support. They seem to be helpful and knowledgeble. I plan on ordering a set of their Stage 1x heads with a port matched intake. Their prices are very reasonable for the work they do.
